'Tin Tin'

 ©  2003 Duke Albada
Dimensions_ 6m wide, 4 m high     Medium_ etched stainless steel, sound, acrylic paint
Location_ spread over three levels of Kogarah Town square; shopping centre, parking garage and at the council building

Inspired by the history of Kogarah. Etched vegetables leaves in s/steel panels and a punched pattern imitating
the snout of a watering tin. The bottom sheets are warped; catching the light as water would. When pressing
the lift button a sound tape comes to life of nature/bush, water, birds and kids chasing the birds away.
