'Kelp'
wondering where is the water

© 2003 Duke Albada Location_ Sculpture by the sea, Sydney, NSW
Medium_ fabric, metals.  Dimensions_ 3 m high, 2.5m diameter, each

A kinetic temporary installation of five stylized giant kelp trees; gently swaying, mimicking underwater
currents, interacting with the wind and man. The installation's moods and movement; slow when still, dramatic
when windy and the introduction of sounds through movement can be best 'experienced' instead of quickly viewed.
