Addressing environmental awareness. The rods signify an important feature of both history (rich water life)
and the present (leisure). The fish bodies (palm fronds) slowly disintegrate exposing the fish bones (stainless
steel wire) referring to the irreversible alteration of the ecosystem. Nature is playing the part of the white settlers.
